Supports for community living Waiver (SCL)

A Kentucky Medicaid program home- and community-based waiver providing an alternative to institutional care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. SCL allows individuals to remain in or return to the community in the least restrictive setting.

Michelle P. Waiver

The Michelle P. Waiver is a medical program in Kentucky developed to provide multiple services to persons with a developmental or intellectual disability. The program’s focus is to attain the the highest level of independence within their community by working on independent living skills, educational experiences as well as social skills in order to successfully integrate into their community.
